Gifting Gear gives your previously loved gear another chance at play, reduces waste, and builds a strong connected community.

We help gear get off the bench, find its next player, and stay in the game!

How It Works

GIFT IT: Have sports and recreation gear in new or previously loved condition that your family has outgrown? Gift your gear during our collection and drop-off dates to give it another game!

REHOME IT: Looking for new(ish) gear for the upcoming season? Explore our collection on Sunday and rehome items for FREE.

Good to Know

Everyone is Welcome: This program is open to the whole community—no need-based requirements. If your family will use it and enjoy it, take it home and play on!

Not a Swap: You can rehome gear even if you haven't gifted any items.

First-come, First-served: Gifting gear does not guarantee that you will find replacement gear on our rehoming day. Our goal is to keep gear moving and expand access to play for everyone!

What's happening on Sunday?

Date | Event Schedule

12:00 PM — Arrival & Staging: Our gear selection is first-come, first-served. We invite you to arrive anytime after 12 PM to secure your spot in line before the doors open. Kona Ice and Tom’s Coffee will be on-site with beverages available for purchase to quench your thirst while you wait!
12:45 PM — The Great "Melon Drop" : You won’t want to miss this! Join us just before the gear giveaway for a messy, memorable demonstration of why helmets are so important!
1:00 PM — Shifting Gears / Gifting Gear Opens: Doors open!
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM — LOSN Sustainability Fair: Be sure to explore the fair! It runs concurrently with our event and features local resources for sustainable living.
2:00 PM — Bike Rodeo: Try out your new wheels (or bring yours from home)! Kids can build confidence and sharpen their riding skills through a variety of fun, hands-on challenges.

No gifts/drop-offs are accepted on the rehoming date (Sunday).

If you have items you would like to gift that are not listed, e-mail a photo to Gifting Gear or bring it to a gifting/drop-off date and a volunteer will evaluate.
Not all items will be accepted.
No gifts/drop-offs are accepted on the rehoming date (Sunday).

While all gear is visually inspected by our volunteers; it is the rehomer's responsibility to have it safety checked before use.
